I picked up both the Arrma Kraton 6S and the Traxxas Maxx within the same month, mostly because I could not settle an argument with a buddy at the local track. Six months, three broken driveshafts, and one very confused mailman later, I finally have a real answer. If you are stuck between these two…
I fried my first RC car in about four minutes flat. It was a light drizzle, barely enough to need an umbrella, and by the time I got the thing back inside, the receiver was already smoking. That one mistake sent me down a rabbit hole of researching what “waterproof” actually means on an RC…
Pro Boat vs Traxxas. I spent a solid month running both a Pro Boat and a Traxxas RC boat back to back on the same lake, same battery packs, same weather, just to settle an argument I kept having in my own head. Everybody in the RC boating world seems to pick a side and…
I still remember standing in my garage with a half-charged battery, a controller I did not fully understand, and a car that kept veering hard left no matter what I did. Looking back, nobody ever handed me a real RC car for beginners guide, so I just figured it out the expensive way. If you…
I killed my first LiPo pack in about six weeks because nobody told me storage voltage was a real thing. So when a buddy at the track handed me a Li-Ion pack and said “just try it,” I figured it was worth burning a Saturday to find out if the hype was real. 👉 Li-Ion…
Redcat Granite vs Big Rock. I spent three weekends switching between my Redcat Granite and a buddy’s Big Rock before I finally figured out which one actually deserved a permanent spot in my garage. Both trucks looked tough on paper, but only one held up once things got messy. Here’s exactly what happened once I…
RC Car Maintenance Checklist. I broke three servos before I finally admitted the problem wasn’t bad luck, it was me. I was skipping the boring stuff every single time I got home, and it caught up with my truck fast. So I built a checklist I actually stick to now, and I’m sharing the exact…
I bought the Losi Tenacity on a whim after watching one too many YouTube unboxings, and I fully expected to be disappointed within a week. That did not happen. A few months and several trashed tires later, I finally have enough seat time to tell you exactly what this truck gets right and where it…
Fastest Electric Scooters in 2026. I still remember the first time a scooter blew past me like I was standing still. Mine topped out around 15 mph and felt fast enough until that moment. That was the day I fell down the rabbit hole of motor specs, voltage ratings, and everything else that separates a…
Somewhere between my third stripped diff and the moment my neighbor asked why my backyard sounded like a monster truck rally, I realized I needed to actually figure out which of these two beasts deserved a permanent spot in my garage. Both the Arrma XRT and the Traxxas X-Maxx promise the same thing on paper:…
